Not approved anywhere, and shut out of US compounding
Ipamorelin is not approved as a medicine by any regulator in the world. Both companies that developed it walked away, and in the United States it was specifically shut out of compounding after an October 2024 advisory-committee vote. Understanding this status is essential to reading any claim about it honestly.
That landscape has since moved for other peptides but not for this one. In July 2026 the same advisory committee took up seven further peptides for the 503A list and, by narrow margins, recommended six of them for inclusion, voting down only emideltide. Those recommendations are advisory and the FDA has not acted on them, and ipamorelin was not on that agenda at all, so its 2024 exclusion still stands.
