No approved medicine anywhere contains ipamorelin. Both companies that developed it walked away, and in the United States it was kept off the 503A bulks list after an October 2024 advisory-committee vote. Understanding this status is essential to reading any claim about it honestly.
That landscape has since moved for other peptides but not for this one. In July 2026 the same advisory committee took up seven further peptides and, by narrow margins, recommended that FDA reclassify all but one of them. A recommendation is not a reclassification, FDA has not acted on it, and ipamorelin was not on that agenda at all, so its 2024 exclusion still stands.
