The gland epitalon was built to influence

Epitalon started as a pineal peptide, and the pineal axis is its second big story. This unit covers where the peptide has been studied in the body, how melatonin rhythms flatten with age, and what the aging-primate and elderly-cohort studies actually reported about restoring those rhythms.

As with telomeres, the aim is to separate a plausible pineal-endocrine signal from the much stronger claim that fixing a rhythm slows aging.
