The oxidative-stress and repair side of the story

Beyond telomeres and melatonin, epitalon carries an antioxidant and repair narrative: reported effects on free-radical markers, antioxidant enzymes, mitochondrial function, and, in newer independent work, oocyte and wound-healing models. This unit walks that preclinical mechanism layer and its limits.

It is the most chemically plausible part of the story and, like the rest, mostly cell and animal data, so we keep the redox biology honest and avoid the "antioxidants are always good" trap.
