Tendon healing is the application BPC-157 is best known for in fitness communities, and it is also the one with the tightest mechanistic chain: a transected rat Achilles tendon heals faster, isolated tendon cells migrate more, and a defined intracellular pathway (FAK-paxillin) ties the two together. The story is genuinely coherent.

It is also entirely preclinical. Every result in this unit comes from rats or cell culture; the 2025 systematic review confirms there is still no controlled human tendon-healing trial. A strong rat mechanism is exactly the kind of evidence that gets rounded up into a human promise, so we will keep the two firmly apart.
