A 2023 mouse study showed a GHK-Cu analog entering the hair growth phase (anagen) in just 6 days compared to 9 days for minoxidil 5%. The mechanism involves Wnt/beta-catenin pathway activation, dermal papilla cell stimulation, and localized DHT reduction through 5-alpha reductase inhibition. But no large-scale human trials exist yet.
